Shipping

Deliveries are made to the address indicated in the order, which must be within the agreed geographical area.
Delivery times may be longer during Private Sales, Clearance Sales, and Archive Sales.

In France, deliveries are handled by La Poste via tracked Colissimo with signature required, from Monday to Saturday. VALENTINE GAUTHIER does not deliver to PO Boxes. The package is handed directly to the recipient against a signature.

Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, and we cannot guarantee a precise delivery date (due to weather conditions, carrier strikes, etc.). However, the standard delivery time is one week.
In the event of absence, a delivery notice is left in the recipient's mailbox. The recipient then has 15 days to collect the package from their local post office.
You can track your package at any time on the La Poste website.

Bicycle courier deliveries are available exclusively for Paris (with a 4-hour time slot to be verified with sales@valentinegauthier.com).

If delivery times exceed thirty days from the date of the order, the sales contract may be terminated and the buyer refunded. To ensure that delivery deadlines are met, the customer must verify the accuracy of the information provided.
VALENTINE GAUTHIER delivers within one week for mainland France and 10 business days for international orders.

Return or Exchange Policy: Returned items must be in brand-new condition, accompanied by all their accessories (belts, slip dresses, etc.).
You have 14 days after receiving your package to return your items if you change your mind or if the size is incorrect. You may exchange your item for an identical item or receive a refund. An exchange can only be made for the exact same model (size change only); therefore, it cannot result in a partial refund if the price of the model has changed since the initial order.

In the event of a partial refund request for an order that benefited from a tiered discount on the overall cart, the credited amount will be calculated by taking into account only the discount percentage applicable to the item(s) kept. In the event of a refund request for an item included in a gift set/box, the credited amount will be calculated based solely on the original price of the item(s) kept.

Please write to us at sales@valentinegauthier.com to learn about the procedure to follow. The refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the customer's cancellation request, credited to the credit card or PayPal account used for the purchase. However, this refund may be deferred until the returned item is received (Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code). In the event of a refund, please ensure that the payment method used for the order is still valid. If it is not, please send your bank details (IBAN/BIC) to sales@valentinegauthier.com.

Damaged Packaging, Damaged or Missing Products

The customer, or the recipient of the order, is advised to check the visible condition of the package and items upon delivery.
WARNING: In the event of a damaged package, damaged product, or missing product, the customer or their representative must strictly follow the procedures described below. Failure to comply with the appropriate procedure excludes any recourse against the carrier and the company VALENTINE GAUTHIER.

The customer must contact customer service within 7 days following receipt at sales@valentinegauthier.com, attaching a photo of the affected item, and follow the same return procedure as described and detailed in Article 6.

Returns

In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a right of withdrawal for remote sales made on the website or by telephone. The customer may exercise this right, without having to provide any reason, within 14 days from the date the product is received by the customer or their designated representative. Any return request made after this period may be rejected.

If the customer placed an order containing multiple products, the withdrawal period does not begin until the customer or the designated third party has received the last product.

In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for orders relating to:

  • The supply of goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized;
  • The supply of goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

To notify their decision, the customer may use the withdrawal form found at the bottom of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) or any other unambiguous statement. This request must be sent to customer service by email at the following address: sales@valentinegauthier.com

To ensure that the return and refund can be validated and processed quickly, the customer or their representative must strictly follow the procedures described below. Failure to comply may lead to the return being refused and the product being sent back to the customer without a refund.

How to Request a Return:

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Returning the Item(s):

  • Place the item(s) in a sturdy cardboard box.
  • Seal the box securely with tape.
  • Use the return document and circle the item to be returned.
  • Check carefully to ensure your package does not bear any other shipping or tracking labels.
  • For returns sent from outside the EU: Please attach the 3 copies of the commercial return invoices provided in your original package, tick the items you wish to return, and sign each invoice.
  • Send the item via Colissimo or the carrier of your choice.
  • Items must be returned to the address shown on the return document.

If the return document is lost, the necessary information to provide is detailed below.

Refunds

The refund will be credited to the cardholder's credit card or to the customer's PayPal account.
The refund will be issued within 14 days from receipt of the returned item.
No refund will be processed if the item is not returned in perfect condition.
Shipping costs paid at the time of the initial shipment will not be refunded.

Important Information

Items must be returned in perfect condition, exactly as they were delivered, with the tags still attached. All footwear must be tried on a carpeted surface until the customer decides to keep them.
The above policy also applies during sales periods.
